Reporting to: Store Manager
Role:
To visit customers in their homes and measure areas to be fitted with appropriate merchandise. Provide estimates and convert sales leads to the highest standards. To sell carpets, floor coverings and ancillaries when based in the store and assist in its daily operation. To meet all targets as a minimum. To ensure that all Company policies, procedures, controls and administrative processes are implemented an upheld.
Main Responsibilities:

To travel to customers’ homes and provide written quotations according to their requirements.

To ensure that appropriate, reliable and well-maintained transport is available for your use at all times.

To ensure that you and your vehicle portray a professional image and that you conduct yourself in accordance with the Staff Business Image.

To ensure that leads are converted into sales that further deposits/balances are paid into the store and that customers are provided with a bona fide receipt.

To ensure that all appointments are kept and that customers are advised of any changes.

To complete a plan whilst on site ensuring that the customer’s signature is obtained to confirm their understanding and acceptance of any joins, change of pile direction and/or price.

To comply with all Company policies and procedures in particular Health and Safety, and security procedures.

To assist in store presentation, display and general housekeeping when based in the store.

Ensure that you are available and willing to work on Sundays, special promotions and Bank Holidays as required.

To effectively liaise with colleagues and carry out any other related duties as requested by the Store Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Divisional Controller or Main Board Director.
